Sounds like you used real instruments!

Love it!

You mic all your instruments?

ConnorDeVaux responds:

Not the electric guitars but everything else yeah

Bossa Nova with an urban beat? Okay, I can dig it!

Thanks, thanks a lot for this. Everyone overlooks that gem. Not you. Not you, though.

Relatable as hell. I was recently wanting to start a project similar to this since I moved, with maybe a little more post-punk influence. I dig the vocals and guitar solo - it's like a throwback to 60's garage.

HearsePileup responds:

Thanks for the kind words mate; garage rock definitely fits into our influences - though I think the sound has evolved a bit since then (this was one of our first songs!). You should definitely do it; I'm going to check your stuff out some time today :D

It's like the 70's, 80's and a Sega gave birth to an awesome track!

This is great, and I dig the bassline, but I'm hearing a lot of limiter ducking despite it being a relatively quiet master with a lot of headroom. Is that a Newgrounds thing?

Syntrus responds:

What you were hearing was a compressor not a limiter, when I first wrote this track I wanted an ugly sort of an effect. I listened to the track a number of times, and I have decided to do a cleaner cut and eased off on the compressor, it has been replaced here. thanks for your feedback.

This inspired me today. Was in a creative slump. I need to add more dissonance in my music!

I needed this mellow right now.

SUPERHARDT responds:

I'm glad I was able to help with your mellow vibes, my friend. Thank you so much! <3

This page is dedicated to my various music projects. Some still active, others long defunct. Enjoy!
